Accessibility Statement
PalMate exists so that no one faces important moments alone — and that promise includes how this website and the PalMate Connect app are built. Many of the people we serve are older adults, people managing health conditions, and family members under stress. Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox for us; it is the product.
Our standard
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA across palmatellc.com. Concretely, this site is built with:
- Large, readable base type (17px) with generous line spacing
- Color contrast meeting AA on all text, including text over tinted backgrounds
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, and a skip‑to‑content link
- Semantic landmarks, headings, and alt text for screen readers
- Touch targets of at least 44px on mobile
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion— animations are disabled for users who ask for less motion - Content that works with JavaScript disabled — navigation, FAQs, and all page content remain readable
If the app isn't accessible to you
You don't need the app to reach a human. Email info@palmatellc.com or use the contact form, and we'll walk through everything with you — including setting up bookings on behalf of a family member with their consent. We reply within one business day.
Known limitations
- Some photography includes text-free decorative elements; all informative images carry alt text.
