Delete Your PalMate Account & Data
How to delete your account
You can delete your PalMate account directly from within the app:
- Open the PalMate app.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts and confirm deletion.
Note: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account and associated data cannot be restored.
What we delete
- Profile info (name, email, phone, photos/avatars)
- Location data
- Chats and message history
- Bookings and reviews
- Emergency contacts
- Subscription status in PalMate systems
- Device identifiers tied to your account
What we may retain (and for how long)
- Payment/transaction records from app stores (tax/accounting): up to 7 years
- Security/audit/anti-fraud logs: up to 24 months
- Encrypted backups (not actively used): 30–90 days rolling
- Record of deletion requests (compliance): up to 24 months
Subscriptions
Deleting your PalMate account does not cancel your app-store subscription. To stop future charges, cancel directly through your app store:
- Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PalMate → Cancel
- Apple App Store: iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PalMate → Cancel
